Inverter station type SPT-4/1x90MF for metal housings and stud welding

The inverter welding station was designed in the form of a kiosk built with fixed shields and a front optical safety barrier. After selecting the appropriate welding program and manually loading the metal box, the workpiece is based and the cycle starts.

Welding carried out by four independent guns with BLUMEC actuators with a force of 440 daN (at 6 bar) each. In the lower part of the station there is a 1000 Hz inverter transformer with a power of 90 kVA (P-50%) produced by TECNA. After welding of the sides of the casing, the operation of studs welding is carried out by the head moving automatically in three axes. The studs are fed into the working area by means of a vibratory feeder.

The superior PLC system of the B & R company serves to control the device. In the front of the device there is an HMI operator panel. For welding parameters, the TE700 controller from TECNA was used, which allows parameterization of welding programs for 300 different metal housings.
